Ethos day. Great shave.  And even better to have ordered the DFS/Ethos collaboration today and from the guy who started this thread

Original v. (Martin de Candre) lavender rosemary

Yesterday I was whingeing about how this soap leaves me dry from time to time. The cure? A splash of water. That’s all it takes to loosen up the hide and make it all limber again. A more perplexing question is will we ever see the bottom of this pot? I seem to be going backward. Yesterday I had 29 grams of soap, today I have 30. It soaks up water like a sponge and holds it for a good long time. So today I've brought in the backhoe: a WCS 26 mm silvertip. Let's see if it will do a little lasting damage.

B&M LeGrand Chypre

I like about 3 of the B&M sent profiles. But the ones, I like I really like! And the performance is stellar. Not sure what to post with.....just going to enjoy the lingering lather fragrance.

Haha, love the use of "backhoe", and I need to use that philosophy more! I don't know why I'm always trying to rightsize every load when I can certainly afford 10-15 more seconds.

Palm lathered to a glorious shave this morning.  Looked like rain when I went to bed last night but the big old Texas sun is up and today looks marvelous.  Feeling great.  Looking sharp.  Smelling fantastic!  It’s going to be a great day in the alone Star state.  Maybe Hard 8 BBQ tonight?

Looks like your Mulies wintered well.  Tough on skiing when snow doesn’t come but the deer do better.  I was in Challis last weekend with my lady and a doe peeked in the window to see what we were up to.
