Old Virginia t. (Asylum Shave Works) sweet brightleaf
The label says Virginia, but to me this is Tobacco Road, North Carolina. Take a slow drive some summer evening on a lonesome two-laner over the rolling hills between Durham and Winston-Salem. Roll down the window and what you’ll smell is sweet, smoky tobacco leaf out in the fields or curing in the cedar barns. Somehow Asylum has tucked all that country aroma into this soap, and every time I lather it up, it takes me back a few years.
____________
Asylum: Old Virginia (58% left) ・ Razorock Baby Smooth ・ Astra Superior Platinum ・ Phoenix Shaving Solar Flare ・ Soap Hoard: 11,136 g ・ Used this year: 103 g

B&M The Full Measure of Man
I have to say I'm a bit surprised (happily) in the name, given the climate of hypersensitivity BS poisoning the times. (It's unfortunate I even have to think about that, especially while just enjoying a damn shave soap, but it just goes to show the overreach of crybabies these days. Absolutely infuriating.)
Anyway, back to being a man for another day.... I came up with this idea to smoke some wings, nice and crispy
Then add some Buffalo sauce (Frank's RedHot and melted butter)
And devour them, and slide the bones right out of the meat
Perfection.
Thanks science, brain, and raw materials.
