No. 89 v. (Floris) citrus fougère
Impressive presentation, a classic fragrance (orange fougère with a nice pinch of nutmeg and moss), and a lather that’s easy to build. What more could I want? Maybe just a touch more protection. No. 89 is certainly slick, but I still haven’t managed to conjure up that deep cushion that helps hide my sloppy technique. I'll save this one for my mildest razors.
____________
Floris: No. 89 (101% left) ・ Rockwell 6S ・ Astra Superior Platinum ・ Phoenix Shaving Peregrino ・ Soap Hoard: 11,779 g ・ Used this year: 100 g

I kinda know what you're saying (and others), but I always end up with BBS after 2 passes (instead of my normal 3). You might want to give her a shot with one fewer pass than normal and see if it works for you too that way. She is a very close shaver, indeed.
You nailed the scent description, btw!
