HoosierShave, I've tried so many ways to noticeably deplete my stockpile of soap – focusing on only a few tubs, sticking to one brand, using only the oldest, restricting myself to just the softest – but I just can't stick with any method. I guess the only thing that matters is that every day I chip a little more off the mountain. Seeing that "Used this year" number go up gives me incentive to keep loading like I love them (but the real truth is, I've got enough soap to keep me happily shaving for the next fourteen years). 

This year, my method is to use the 6 soaps nearing depletion for the first week of each month.  I will also try to use 1 or 2 during the other weeks of the month.  If I can stick to it, each one will be used a minimum of 12 times.  Using the 30mm knots and a 60-sec load time, I'm hoping each will be successfully finished.  Then again, my previous methods never worked out well so this may only last through January

Day 2 with Aussie Ice - I was surprised that I only loaded about 2.3 grams from yesterdays shave.  So this morning, I used the same method - bloomed while I showered, hit the load for 60 sec with a 30mm knot but about halfway through the load, I added 7 to 8 drops of water to (hopefully) loosen up a little extra soap
