We had a chinook wind two days ago that came through and ate all the valley snow. High mountain snow is still deep and warm wind when we are starting the season actually builds a great snow Pack base. The ski hill by my place has a total of 148 inches this year which has settled into a 56 inch base. That’s the kind of base we need. Christmas is just around the corner and it’ll be good to have some down time with family and grandkids. We’ll put up a couple of ice tents on the lake in front of the cabin and do some ice fishing. Running out of time before Dickens goes back in the garage fridge crisper drawer for another year. Two more seasons and it’ll be gone. So good this morning and the cherry and cardamom notes were especially playful.
