Floris Verbena shaving soap (tallow) + a few drops Rose Essence Oil/Hydrosol.  The 'Rose Essence' (Bulgarian and Moroccan roses with jasmine, ylang ylang, rose geranium, and back notes of fossilized amber, patchouli, and several sandalwoods) added a great warm, deep fragrance to the soap, which by now has lost nearly all its original scent.

Dave what did you think overall on this one?
I almost pulled the trigger but someone listed an unused WK La Fougere Parfaite for $15 with shipping, an obvious no brainer

I really like it, if you have Canniblis Santal it's pretty much the same Canniblis scent with strawberry on top instead of the Sandalwood

ARIANA EVANS / St Barts

This one is pretty amazing by A&E, I can’t put my finger on it except it’s a very “creamy” scent! I think of that old skool song, “put the lime in the coconut and eat it all up!”

Reminds me of a gentle breeze blowing off wild jasmine.  Lime, Mandarin, Ginger, Coconut, Musk and Jasmine is the scent for me.  The real winning note is what your face feels like AFTER the shave is over.  Hydrated and Moisturized.  This is one of the few A&E soaps that make my skin feel this way.  Maybe is the new base he’s using, idk?

I’m happy summer returned to my area.  I’m going to continue using my summer scents until we go under 40F during the day, although DRAGONSBEARD, KING OF OUD AND BOURBON can be used if it’s 100f or -5f...

Original v. (Martin de Candre) mint, lavender, rosemary

Martin de Candre sell their soaps in some peculiar jugs. You can order soap in a frothy brain bowl, soap in butter dish, soap in a ‘domino’ (a glass box without a lid), even soap in an ice cream cup. But something about soap in a food container just doesn’t click with me. For some reason, I like to keep the kitchen and the bathroom apart. So, my favorite vessel these days is their 50 gram screw-top jar. It’s teeny, but compared to the full 200 gram jar, the upfront cost of these little tublets is more manageable. Fifty grams isn’t much soap, but this is Martin de Candre, so it lasts a long time. Granted, buying soap in such small quantities is not the cheapest way to go. I figure I’ll be paying about 50¢ a shave, slightly less if I’m going to be stingy with my loading. But on the upside, I have every hope of working my way through this mini, and there’s something to be said for the satisfaction you get when you actually finish a soap.

I borrowed this picture from Martin de Candre's site. I think the razor is a Muhle Kosmo with an olive wood handle. What can you tell me about it?
