Liz Claiborne Bora Bora shaving cream. As I noted in my SOTD post, I got snookered with a blind buy on eBay, and this 'cream' was a watery mess. The seller was quite understanding and accepted my return for a refund.

Brutalt Bra v. (Bergums Såpkokeri) mostly eucalyptus now

This is my third cake of Brutalt Bra. Each has had a different fragrance. The first smelled of distant pine, the second of mild lavender, but this third one is all about eucalyptus. It’s a fairly stout interpretation of eucalyptus too. If you’re a fan of Proraso Green, you’ll be able to plug into this scent without any problems. Performance has been all over the place. This soap takes a little getting used to. But since I started overloading my brush (a hundred swirls really aren’t too many), I’ve had nothing but marvelous shaves. I’m especially happy with the finish: glassy smooth and dry with no irritation.

Mystic Water Frankincense & Myrhh

Had a ghost shave tonight. You boys know - when you have to check the razor to make sure a blade is under the cap. Post shave is superb as we all know with this - proto lather is like lotion. This version is my MW favorite. I do want to try Marrakesh. Anybody have analogs for that puck?

Victory Soaps Flakbait

Black cherry, rum, and smoke. The scent is cherry heavy with a boozy, smokey rum backing. It smells great, a lovely strong scent. At times the scent off the puck reminds me of Paladin Black Cherry tobacco, but I don't think there's any tobacco leaf in the scent notes.

Every soap has a theme. Flak Baits story is:

Flak-Bait was a B-26 Marauder that survived WWII and has the historical distinction of flying more hours (>700hrs) and more missions 207 total (202 Bombing & 5 Decoy) than any other bomber during WWII.

Nonetheless, what a great scent and a really standup soap. A class act offering from Victory Soaps.  Happy2

Tidepool isn’t the only shaver around here who’s smitten with Tcheon Fung Sing. Though this is my only tub (for now), I have to rank among my favorites. The scent – a bold floral with herby side notes – is intense and interesting. The lather is as slick as you want it to be. And the finish is sweet and smooth and keeps getting better as the day goes on. I like Ginestra di Taormina so much, I’ve just pressed the button on a couple more soaps from this TFS Linea Intenso line: Tobacco Verde and Arancio Amaro. And I’m looking at another called Kathmandu. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

Bouki, you and Lip have cost me a ton [ amplification of my soap inventory]. I am proud to have tuned you in on this particular puck.  That Broom flower...mmmmm good.

I have TFS tobacco verde. It is a bright, fresh and obviously GREEN tobacco scent. Great for all year use.

You sunk me on this Tcheon Fung Sing stuff, TommyCarioca. Big, bold flavors and a finish that suits me perfect at this time of year. Thanks! And thanks, too, for your take on Tobacco Verde. Looking forward to the smell of the 'bacca fields in summer.
If you can't find the TFS Tobacco Verde, it is the same scent (and same maker, but slightly different base) as RR "Zi' Peppino" and Barbiere di Figaro "Classico".
I've owned all three at the same time haha

I've got this on the way, hoping for good things. I just bought the mug soap size (their first dabble with those), for change of pace.

Marrakesh is mostly patchouli. It's fairly sweet and a bit smoky, but I don't get that camphoric burn that some patchouli has. There's also a drop of lime and a very light dusting of spice and a pinch of moss, but the main player is patchouli. I can't think of anything like it on my soap shelf.
