Tidepool isn’t the only shaver around here who’s smitten with Tcheon Fung Sing. Though this is my only tub (for now), I have to rank among my favorites. The scent – a bold floral with herby side notes – is intense and interesting. The lather is as slick as you want it to be. And the finish is sweet and smooth and keeps getting better as the day goes on. I like Ginestra di Taormina so much, I’ve just pressed the button on a couple more soaps from this TFS Linea Intenso line: Tobacco Verde and Arancio Amaro. And I’m looking at another called Kathmandu. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

Bouki, you and Lip have cost me a ton [ amplification of my soap inventory]. I am proud to have tuned you in on this particular puck.  That Broom flower...mmmmm good.

I have TFS tobacco verde. It is a bright, fresh and obviously GREEN tobacco scent. Great for all year use.

You sunk me on this Tcheon Fung Sing stuff, TommyCarioca. Big, bold flavors and a finish that suits me perfect at this time of year. Thanks! And thanks, too, for your take on Tobacco Verde. Looking forward to the smell of the 'bacca fields in summer.

Ah, you mean this Kathmandu?  Ahaha.  We are all a bunch of shaving soap junkies.  So the performance is just like you would expect.  Scent is floral and wood to me, leaning on a cooler weather scent.  Very lovely.  Size is small at 3 oz but I don’t regret owning it at all.

Thanks, Lipripper660! Didn't realize it was a 3 oz tub. That explains the price (it was a little less than I expected). I tell you what, if it's good enough for your chops, I better take a closer look at it. I read the reviews and it sounds sort of like Tallow+Steel's Himalaya meets Saponificio Varesino's Arctic Tundra, with some dope thrown in. Should be interesting.
