What soap/cream did you use today?

Art of Shaving Sandalwood shaving soap puck which is held in a nice wood container.  I think I have the older tallow version because it has great performance.  I read about the newer version being not so good.

I own both old and new version.  Don’t be afraid of the new version as it lathers just fine.  I prefer the tallow version but not by much.  In fact used the new today.

Lip: I’m really glad you made comment here! I have been gun shy on a new version purchase.  AoS Sandalwood is my gold standard of what S-wood should smell like...I have enough tallow puck for 2021 and I’m glad I won’t have to beg and barter when mine goes circular in the middle! Thanks for your post Sir!

This is an old tub of soap. I think I got it in October 2016. The scent’s still strong but the soap itself has gone rock hard. Time to use it up. The spreadsheet says I'll get nine more shaves if I load generously. Let’s see how close we come.
