Finally couldn’t wait any longer and pulled the trigger on a new tub of Cyril Salter French Vetiver.  I've been hoping that they would release the scent in the triple milled puck they produced That’s getting good reviews but alas,  only in lavender.  The tub arrived and although a little disappointed that the scent strength is softer than the last pot, it is still Vetiver unadorned or adulterated.  To my nose this is the best Vetiver on the planet.  Top notes of Vetiver followed by mid notes of Vetiver all sitting on a base of Vetiver  you think you like your Vetiver dirty, roots, and Smokey?  Put on your big boy pants and chinch that belt up tight cowboy because this horse can buck!  Awesome!

Oh how I love Vetiver. Unfortunately, it's not all that popular outside of our little world. The "regular Joe's" don't appreciate it as much as we do. I haven't tried this one. I'm stuck in Black Velvet.

Just about the stinking best vetiver on the planet! I only wish the scent would remain strong longer. I've had two tubs that have gone so faint over the course of a year that I ended up pitching them. If I ever get another, I'll use it every day until it's gone: Vetiverathon.
