Dusy Kabinett shaving soap. After being pressed into a bowl, the soap made better lather. The cushion was adequate, but the slickness was just fair, even with the ultra-smooth BBS-1. The scent was quite pleasant.

Oleo’s performance is flawless, and the wonderful Dapper Man scent is strong, yet causes no irritation.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Lemongrass & Eucalyptus t. (Mike's Natural Soap) bold & clean

The lather is fine and evenly grained and makes glossy peaks that curl over in perfect cornices. It's as dense as sour cream and coats like house paint. In other words, Mike's is as close as I've ever come to a perfect lather. The scent ... well that's another matter. The puck smells like something you would find in a janitor's closet, but add a lot of water and some earnest brush work and the fragrance of the lather becomes much milder. I'd be telling a stretcher to say it was beautiful, but at least I can say it's bright and clean and suits a hot morning's shave perfectly.
