Highland Springs Soap Company/Australian Private Reserve Eclipse

This is a good one if you like heavy leather scents. It reminds me of Wholly Kaw Cuero Oscuro, only more sophisticated. The maker provides this description:

"Eclipse was born from a desire to create a dark musky fragrance, although at the time, we had no idea it would bear that moniker. We have collaborated with Australian private reserve as they are well-known in creating complex scents; a perfect fit.

The long list of notes come together beautifully to create a truly one of a kind experience. Russian leather and dark musk are predominant initially, followed by blond tobacco dried fig and bourbon then rounding out with floral notes of Carnation, Geranium and Lavender.

The dry down on this scent emphasizes it's complexity, like the moon slowly passing in front of the sun, it darkens over time, leaving you in the shadows of Eclipse."

I am enjoying the complexity of the dry down on this scent enhanced by the use of the matching aftershave. Very nice indeed.

Got out of bed at 3:30 am and worked until a little after 5 pm.  Still not caught up and may have to do the same thing tomorrow morning  The wife suggested Thai food as a little "pick me up" which is great, I love spicy volcano chicken.  But what I really needed was a hot shower and a good soap for a face-lathering session.  For me, you just can't go wrong with some Shannon's...
