Yesterday my adult daughter was having a sniff-fest with my frags and I was amazed how similar were our tastes. She would sniff and rate and move on. I was silent in my observation trying not to influence her commentary although as hard-headed as that sweet girl is there really was little chance of that. I was interested to see what happened when picked up a bottle of vintage Shultons Old Spice. She put it to her nose, drew breath, and exclaimed “Oh Mama”! Well, she's right! Old Spice was and is popular for a reason so in deference to her assessment, today was the Oh Mama shave. Stirling Spice followed with a splash of Shultons Old Spice aftershave. It was a good day and the splash is with me still this evening.
Felce Aromatica v. (Saponificio Varesino) resonant green
Plant your snout in this puck and you'll understand what Milton meant by 'the green turf that's sucked the honied showers'. This is divine. If they play rugby in heaven, Felce Aromatica is what they come home smelling like. I get green, green, green, with a dose of ginger and balsam. Fabulous.

Black Tie Razor has become my "base" from which all other soaps are judged. Why? Because they have chosen to offer limited scents, that are tastefully crafted, in a top shelf soap base, that represent all classes of the scent wheel, AND ARE IN STOCK. I hate loving a soap to see it discontinued shortly after learning about it. I have all of there offerings (affordable to do) and this morning I chose Casino Royale. Yep! So good it deserves a one-of-a-kind container.
