You gotta tell me more about this soap! How strong is the scent?  Is it really pine tar or does it smell more like asphalt?  I am jonesing for a pine tar shaving soap since I got ahold of Razormaster's Toivo.  Chiselled Face used to distribute it but don't anymore.  Perhaps this one would cure my itch?  (Because it's all about me.)
I have a sample of Pine Tar and had it when the Soap Sample Box was in my possession.  If I remember correctly, Pine Tar had a very similar scent to Toivo but the scent strength on Toivo was greater.  I'm still looking to add a Toivo too  Happy2

It is a straight Pine Tar and not a scent. The soap is quite dark and the scent is pretty strong off the tub but once lathered it's a nice medium strength. It has a slight medicinal quality and possibly something you used to keep the bugs away not the best description but it works for me once in a while. I still really like the base especially when using a straight razor.
Having a look this morning it's still available here north of the border and as plus I just noticed Le Père Lucien is now available maybe Bouki's posts had some influence. Smile
