Dry down is resinous with a good vanilla base. It is very similar to Lubin's Indole and maybe Guerlain Heritage. Strongly recommend this one. Best buy for a niche quality scent - at drugstore pricing.TommyCarioca Wrote:Cella.Sorry about the Cella but tell me more about the Bentley! Classic bottle reminds me of old Chaps
Starting to smell funky but performs well
Going to drop something in it to divert my nose. I have 2kg of this stuff.

Beaudelaire t. (West Coast Shaving | Barrister & Mann) licorice fougère
Last January BM teamed up with WCS to offer Beaudelaire again. I say ‘again’ because BM had discontinued it, but somehow Will was enticed to prepare a new run. It’s still available at WCS, but the base is different from the Beaudelaire offered a few years back. I think it was originally White Label. The WCS version is Excelsior. I’ve got both, and though I see some difference in the lather – Excelsior makes a denser, wetter emulsion – I don’t have a preference. They both work very well, and they both smell incredible: a smoky, anisic fougère with a smudge of leather. Perfect soap for a cool Fall morning.
