What are your impressions of this soap? Is it worth that kind of money?
The soap is an excellent performing soap.  I face lathered and it coated my entire face with an incredible cream like lather.  Great soap and worth every dollar.

Cella.

Starting to smell funky but performs well

Going to drop something in it to divert my nose. I have 2kg of this stuff. [Image: 2b85a2f70cc8f6418f2f29217f7f4230.jpg]

Clay Face
Honolulu, Hawaii
Absinthe t. (Lisa's Natural Herbal Creations) star anise, cinnamon, clove, fennel, amber

It says “Absinthe” on the label but this soap really smells like Five Spice Powder (五香粉). What’s that? It’s a Chinese spice mixture that finds its way into many oriental recipes. The five spices are star anise, cloves, cinnamon, pepper, and fennel. We go through a big jar at New Years, flavoring everything with it from boiled beef to fried chicken to eggs. In fact, it’s not unusual to find a shaker of it right next to the salt and pepper in many restaurants around here. And now it’s in my shave soap. I’ve got no complaints other than I was expecting absinthe. Now that I’m over the surprise I’m happy to start the day smelling like braised beef shanks.

Lisa’s lather is among the very best on my shelf. Rich with aloe, tallow, lanolin, mango butter, calendula, green tea, ivy extract, and orchid extract, this soap makes some outstanding lather. It’s dense and glossy and fine grained. The best part is the ultra-smooth finish.

Sorry about the Cella but tell me more about the Bentley!  Classic bottle reminds me of old Chaps
