Shoot I am glad to be home. SEMA show was great but it's always a marathon. Mostly I'm glad to be home to my own pillow and my lovely Bride. Today was one of my favorites; Sir Henry Sandalwood. This one doesn't tell a story in my mind but fits neatly into the awesome scent category and wow does it perform. Easy loading in hard water and a great post.

This is the most Proustian of all my soaps. I take a whiff and I’m immediately transported to Paradise on the high slopes of Mount Rainier. I smell wildflower meadows, balsam firs all around, storm clouds in the distance, and smoke rising from the chimneys at the inn. There’s something else here, though, that’s not quite as tangible. I smell immense space. If sheer distance has a fragrance, this is it. It’s the smell of the Pacific Northwest from horizon to pine-clad horizon. If you’re ever looking for a soap that will make you feel puny, lather The Trail.
