Art of Shaving Sandalwood shaving soap (tallow).  Previously I had thought that this had a bit of a clay scent undertone, similar to Czech & Speake soaps, but today it was quite pleasant, and the lather was great.

I had a puck of absolut santal, which is supposed to be a clone. Also my sample of WSP Sandalwood smells similar.

I thought for sure I was smelling something along the lines of hay mixed with something else Earth like. I'm going to have to go back and smell it again with clay in mind. It makes me wonder...

Not sure what the big deal is - have had it fior years. Probably reach for it once a year. Light almond scent, not that slick.

Huh. Oh well, Stirling is way better for 3 times less.

Btw- jar sucks. Can't get a good load without serious contortion.
