I've been busy, OK? I have made time to shave though. Today's shave was special however. In the pass around sample box Black Tie Razor had several soaps, most of which I already own. One stuck out to me and I bought it. Black Velvet just scratched my vetiver itch and I really like the scent. But as you can see, that's not what i shaved with. There was a sample of Sir Henry's Sandalwood in there and although the scent didn't seem all that great, the dry down revealed true sandalwood. Enough interest that I bought it. Well, the scent off the puck rivals my favorite. Happy? Yes Sir! And to make it better the soap opens as I lather.
That’s real sandalwood in case anyone is wondering.

Shave Sharp, Look Sharp
Tcheon Fung Sing Bergamotto Neroli shaving soap. This new soap made by far the best lather of the three orange-scented soaps I have tried this week. Thick and rich, it had wonderful cushion and glide and a light, very pleasant bitter orange fragrance. My skin felt slightly moisturized at the end.
