Sorry, but I don't know the Ivory laundry detergent. Its scent is quite difficult to describe and is for sure unique. It smells primarily of bathwater and lily of the valley. If you like the scent of washhouse, you will be very, very satisfied. It surely brings back childhood memories...

I was gifted a tub of Queen Charlotte Celestial Woods.

Very nice lather. Very agreeable scent.

There is something very appealing to me about English soaps in wooden bowls. I like to tell myself that presentation is NOT performance and when I started in this shaving thing I would buy loose replacement pucks and cram them in cheap Plastic containers. But now? Nope, I want the presentation and little wooden bowls appeal to me. This one is Marlborough which the main accord is cedar. I like the subtle , subdued scents DR Harris offers and I really like that they have thus far resisted reformulation toa soap base that won't lather. If you've had issues with Harris in the past, load more soap. Is it the slickest? Nope. But it's slick enough to do a terrific job. Shoot, it's been around for almost forever. I conclude they must be doing something right.

After Bouki wrote about this soap, and now seeing you have it also, I'm hunting for it as I'm sure it's one that'll please my muzzle.
