Rose de Pushkar v. (Le Père Lucien) bright rose
A light rosy fragrance graces a thick creamy lather that in many ways recalls Saponificio Varesino’s best suds. This new tub of Rose de Pushkar (now with Shea Butter) is vastly different from the first can of RdP I got in 2016. That soap was one of the three worst I’ve ever wrestled with. It just wouldn’t lather. But today’s tin of RdP put up a rich emulsion that gave deep cushion and plenty of glide. It was effortless. My only regret is that I didn’t chuck the first tin sooner.

Hendrix Classics & Co
Southern Comfort
From their website, it 'is reminiscent Kentucky Bourbon and cured Carolina Tobacco'
I couldn't agree more. This has a very sweet bourbon scent (just like SoCo does), with a nice subtle tobacco base. The overall strength is low but still plenty present.
The shave was great. I did use a new razor, so that will impact my ability to review some aspects (was it protective or was the new razor just quite mild and smooth, for example). Still, the constants like hydration, lather sustainability, etc. are all on par with the Classic Barbershop scent. I could definitely feel the slickness, same as the Barbershop.
All in all, I am definitely happy with this soap. For my den, it's a great, unique addition.

The grapefruit is most prominent to me and I struggle to identify the flower scent. A total guess on my part but maybe it's lavender??? Overall, it's a great scent. The grapefruit is definitely front and center but it's not overpowering. Whatever the Fiori note is, it has a calming affect on the grapefruit.
BTW, your question really got me curious about the flower note. Unfortunately, when I went to the Mystic Water website, the soap is no longer listed. Hopefully it's a seasonal as it would really be a shame if this one is discontinued
