DG's Cuir Et Epices.
This is a very good soap. The scent is a bit off-putting from the sample. If I sat and sniffed it too long, I would probably get sick. The minute you add water, the spices come out and it really becomes a great scent. Still not my favorite, but quite good. All said, the scent really is simple... Clean, crisp, leather and spices... they named it well, Lol.
The lather built well enough. Not as easy as some, but no problems to report. The lather sustained well, both in the bowl and on the face. My 10 minutes cool down after initial lathering yeilder very little loss.
Throughout the shave it provided some great slickness. This may be the best I have used... It was really protecting.
The post shave feel was good. It wasn't drying, but really wasn't too moisturizing either. I've gotten better, especially from the likes of Dr Jons (and possibly others, too). Still it was more than adequate.
I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you like leather scents. It's a good, top tier soap IMO.

Latha: Le Petit Chypre t. (Barrister & Mann ) petitgrain, labdanum, oakmoss
Earthy and wild, LPC brings back the Golden Age of perfumery, the years between the two world wars before everything that smelled good was either exhausted or banned. This is a moss lover’s delight framed with a snip of green citrus and a dash of rockrose. Each note is really quite profound, and blended together they make a soul-stirring accord that mixes the primal with the divine. Heavenly stuff. For its simplicity and heft, I actually prefer it to BM's Le Grand Chypre.

I've been in the hills at the condo since Friday. This'll be my rig for the rest of the week. Trumpers coconut cream is a gem. Easy to lather. Slick and protective. It gets things done. Very light coconut scent. Wish their newest soaps were this good. Third of a tub left and haven't decided if it'll be replaced or not because of the sick volume of soap I own but it's worthy of replacement.
