Lost in the Fougèrity

Cheshire t. (Barrister & Mann) bergamot, lavender, clary sage, patchouli

This is a wonderful soap. Though it came out of the gate a bit brash, over time the scent has mellowed, and my nose has got better at appreciating all the herby bits that Will’s tucked into it. Bright, smooth, and soothing, Cheshire has become an all-time favorite. Now in its third year, the puck still smells rich and refreshing.

A few months ago my brush hit the bottom of the tub. I figured I was close to the end, so I scraped out all the soap just to see how much was left. I was surprised to find nearly two ounces. With luck, I’ll get a good five years out of this soap, and I’ll have enjoyed every shave.

Had an awesome shave this morning. The Trumpers was plenty slick and had lot's of cushion.

What a beautiful scent... sweet peach and a light floral... This is definitely spring. So glad I finally tried it.

This is volume 2 (I have no comparison, though) and the soap is really good. Whips up easily, is slick and protective, and the post shave is real good. Not certain I can call it the best in anything, but it's a solid performer well worth the asking price (especially if you love the scent, like I do).[Image: 21f8ce348d9ebcf3b8615fcc91f64e4a.jpg]

Just about ordered this one the other day. What can you tell me about it?

I have this thing about Tcheon Fung Sing soaps. To begin with it only costs approximately $2.15 per ounce and TFS soaps seem to last longer. The formula contains olive oil, coconut oil and vitamin E which are gentle on the face. It makes a great lather and covers my face well. Very slick. It has a very pleasant aroma. All and all 13.5 ounces of a very good soap is hard to pass up. I truly like Italian soaps.
