Yuzu Rose Patchouli t. (Declaration Grooming)
There’s an earthy patchouli in this soap that gives the roses a funereal vibe. Though the yuzu keeps it all aloft and alight, you can’t escape the deep-down-under scent of wet earth. So I’m getting a bit of the tomb along with the rose garden growing over it. Nothing morose here, though. It’s actually pretty perky and quite bold in its attempt to rake in the skull with the roses.
The emulsion is the last word on ‘low density’ lather. This is the flattest, heaviest, most clingsome brush of suds I’ve ever spread across my boney cheeks.
