Fresh Rosemary t. (Le Père Lucien)
lemon, lavender, rosemary
In one hand I'm holding a sprig of rosemary that I just snipped off our bush, and in the other I'm holding this pot of LPL Fresh Rosemary. There's a world of difference between how these two hands smell. The sprig smells sharp, sappy, green, woody, and undeniably fresh, while the rosemary in the soap smells soft, sun bleached, and smothered in lavender. It's not a bad smell, it's just not fresh rosemary. I wish the soap delivered what is printed on the label, but still I'm very happy with the tallowy lather and the close shave. Now what shall I do with the sprig? I'll drop it in the soap pot for a day or two to see if it fortifies the scent.
