I took delivery of this soap several days ago and finally used it today.  The soap is made in Italy and only in small batches so their stock run out but it is always reordered.  It is a soft soap which makes voluminous lather.  It is great on the face and the razor glides over it.  It does have menthol as one of the ingredients.  I would recommend this soap to anyone.  If you purchase it read all of the information.

And the best part this glass jar contains 8.5 ounces and costs $16.  Thats $1.88 per ounce.

Totally agree. Still nothing compares to Valobra. And I've tried it all (new and vintage and everything between)

Wow! It's been a busy week around my place. Five beautiful granddaughters stayed with us as mom and dad welcomed grand baby #12 into the world. Welcome to the world Rhett Matthew!

So I've been staying clean, just not posting. This morning saw Cold Rivers Fall. I'm short on sleep but I know it's not fall. I don't cotton to only using scents in the season they represent but rather enjoy the mental images they evoke. Snow scent in summer or summer scent I. The dead of winter work well for me. Christmas scents are another issue though and those are reserved for that season. This CRSW Fall is a 2015 soap. Lathers great with low structure and slick all week. Scent is 6.5 of 10. Was a bit stronger back when new but the profile is still perfect. This scent smells like wet leaves and crisp air. There is a touch of spice that hearkens to a spiced warm drink. It's a good scent and reminds me a bit of Stirlings AutumnGlory. This one is smooth and refined where Stirling is a bit more rough and tumble. I enjoy Stirlings more for the piquant scent of the leaves. A bit more "nature" to my nose.
