What soap/cream did you use today?

Hemingway Accoutrements shaving cream, warm and fresh

Bergum's Brutalt Bra (brutally good) today. This, like Fitjar, is a Norwegian soap and every time I use it I wonder why it's not more popular. It came in a small tin but I transferred it to a bigger tub which suits my like of larger brushes better. This soap is a joy. Scent is a 5/10 smelling of spruce and eucalyptus. Lather is easy to make glisten. Scent stays constant throughout the shave but washes away in final rinse. The scent. Ah, the scent. It reminds me of a forest during a fall snow. I have no idea where to buy this other than going direct to the maker and I will miss it when it's gone. Thankfully much of it remains.

I'm typically not a fan of citrus-forward scents but the basil seems to tone down the lime in this soap. Overall, it's a great scent with an equally great performing base
