Lippripper posted his erudite thoughts on this Sandalwood a couple of days ago. And I was inspired by his words - this is one of my go to "woodies". DRH is a solid performer - and the fragrance s blend is intriguing. I want to say medicinal or bits of anise in the mix. It is addictive for me - as manifest by my giant ass gallon of Asb.

I wish they had an edt or edp of this juice, so I am forced to marinate in the cologne.

Stay safe out there boys

No, Tommy, I've never tried any of DR Harris's creams. Me and creams don't always get along well. I love the scents, but the cushion is too often lacking. All the same, I think I'd like to macerate myself in a full tub of Sandalwood cologne, you make it sound so good.

I've seen this a few times... It looks like a deodorant stick (wide and short), right? If I am recalling the same one, I'd love to hear how is it's smell... Smell strength / lasting power... Protection?

I've been intrigued and almost bought it a few times. Just don't recall any reviews.

Thanks.

The Club Signature
This is a fine soap in The Club's/Charkalis' (A&E) new base. Properly hydrated, it lays on thick and creamy. It provides a well-lubricated shave. I use it with the matching aftershave--together use of these products gives a nice face feel post-shave. From The Club website: "The notes include Bourbon, Tobacco Absolute and Sandalwood. I blended both Arabian Sandalwood, as well as Tunisian Sandalwood notes for this offering. To round out the base, I added a bit of Agarwood." I sense the Bourbon note and find that the scent reminds me of another soapmaker's offering also in their new base, Wholly Kaw King of Bourbon.

I Coloniali shaving cream. It's not talked about a lot, but this is an excellent cream.

Barrister and Mann Beaudelaire

Massive adoration for this scent. Although Barrister and Mann’s Glissant base is already brilliant, it’ll be interesting to compare it to the upcoming Excelsior release of Beaudelaire.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
