What soap/cream did you use today?

Stirling One

After the Rain t. (L&L Grooming) ★★★★☆ pine, lavender, cedar, pepper

This old tub of After the Rain makes a slick lather with good cushion. It's scented with a drop of lavender and a nice helping of pine. The fragrance isn't strong, and that's OK by me, since conifer soaps can get to smelling like a construction site. As much as I enjoy a bit of carpentry, I still don't like people thinking that I've been shaving with turpentine.

Razorock Santal Royale soap

Today was one of those rare occasions where I shaved with someone else's product. I chose Tabac, an excellent performer and no wonder its been around since the 1950's.
