What soap/cream did you use today?

That which has become my new favorite... A mixture of Ogallala Bay Rum vanilla (40%) and Siliski's Santa's Soap (60%).


Definitely a good holiday soap... Great for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, IMO.

I'm not great at descriptions, but this is a good mixture. You have warm spices, vanilla, tobacco, and a whole lot more I can't quite put into words. The Ogallala Bay Rum is very sweet with vanilla... The Santas Pipe dials that sweetness back a bit, adds complexity and strength to the spices, and the pipe scent just fits in there perfectly.

Green Vetiver t. (Fine Accoutrements) ★★★☆☆ faint vetiver

This is my travel soap. It's cheap, works well with any water, and I don't really care if it gets lost or left behind. The lather's good enough, but after only a couple years the scent has faded away to almost nothing. When I'm at home, I augment it with a spritz of Guerlain's Vetiver to help me remember how good it used to smell.
