What soap/cream did you use today?

I would never want to have to choose just one soap but if it became necessary than this would most likely be it.

Eucris (Geo. F. Trumper) cumin, currants, jasmine, lily of the valley, oak moss
A shave with this cream is admittedly neither close nor comfortable, but the scent – that otherworldly combination of currant and oak moss – lures me to squeeze this tube at least once every six months.

Based on what I’ve read, the hard soap is even worse when it comes to lathering and shaving. But the scent … that’s the reason this is still on my shopping list. Perhaps I should aim for the cologne?

Matsilainen: The cologne might be the best way to get to know this fragrance. Both the soap and the cream leave a lot to be desired in terms of shaving satisfaction, but in spite of their feeble lathers, they sure smell good. You may want to order a small sample of the edt before you binge on a whole bottle. The scent is ... well ... distinctive, but worth get acquainted with.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and sorry for the late response. I’ll definitely look into the cologne, then. I’ve read so many comments about the classic and classy nature of the Eucris scent that I feel I need to experience it in one way or another. (Though, perhaps, starting with a sample, as you suggest.)
