Fern (Barrister & Mann) light fougère

It's fougère Friday, and Barrister & Mann's Fern fits the bill perfectly. Its light green scent is immaculate – no dirty bits in it at all. I overloaded a boar brush today, swirling it over the puck until I got a stringy, sticky tub of suds. Once in the scuttle it didn't take as much water as other B&M soaps. Instead, the emulsion stayed heavy and dense with just one or two trips to the tap. The shave was exquisite.
