Old Spice shaving soap (vintage)/Old Spice Original shaving cream

Another rushed shave. Grabbed the tube of Palmolive shave cream and slathered it on by hand, no brush. I love the smell and I finally figured out what it reminds me of. When I was a child there was a product called Crazy Foam. It was basically shaving cream for kids to use in the bathtub. I think they are making it again. I don't know what the new version smells like but the old one smelled just like Palmolive shave cream/stick.

Spitfire (Phoenix & Beau) leather & juniper

Smells like you’re shaving with gardening gloves on. Lots of leather, some juniper, and a touch of tobacco combine to make a robust lather. I enjoyed this soap  a lot when it first came out about a year and half ago. Now it seems sort of rough around the edges, both the scent and the performance. That hint of ammonia has never entirely disappeared, and a dab more cushion would be welcome. But the label remains one of my favorites.
