I read that Ziegen Bart was a devil to lather, so I tried it again, this time with a synthetic brush and virtually no water. Same thin fleeting lather, in spite of using three grams of soap. I’ve burned through almost the entire sample without making enough suds for even a single pass. Odd stuff. Smells like the skin you peel off a hard sausage.

Well that soap sounds just “lovely”. Maybe there was a mix-up betwixt the soap and the sausage factories the day they made that batch…
