Might be my favorite lather right now.
Kerry has perfected his curing process through a lot of hard work and experimentation.
My favorite bay rum type scent I've tried to date. No clove which is key. Clove can often overpower bay scents. The lime and sweet orange stand ahead of the spicy bay. Remember all P&B soaps are lightly scented with EO's.

I really love it. On the other hand I have become disappointed in the T&S West Indies. Too much bay and vetiver and the soap is far too soft (I'm discovering) to my liking.

Ziegen Bart (Zartgefühl) goat soap

“Goat Beard” is the name of this soap in English. It’s scary. I whipped up a dose in my scuttle and then smeared it all over my face, but by the time I picked up my razor, the foam had fled. Nothing there on my cheeks, just pink skin. I didn’t have the faith to bring the blade to my face, so I washed up and started again with Le Grand Chypre. (For the third day in a row I treated myself to a perfect shave with that soap. I missed the IPO back in 2015, so I figured we had some catching up to do.)

I read that Ziegen Bart was a devil to lather, so I tried it again, this time with a synthetic brush and virtually no water. Same thin fleeting lather, in spite of using three grams of soap. I’ve burned through almost the entire sample without making enough suds for even a single pass. Odd stuff. Smells like the skin you peel off a hard sausage.

Great soap name Smile A trivia I didn't know: Labdanum which I plan to use in future scents, used to be collected by combing the beards and thighs of goats and sheep that had grazed on the cistus shrubs.
