P&B Solaris
I had a little left in the den and had not used this soap in months. Tried it again today after reading Kerry is now curing his soaps for a much longer period. Just a wonderful shave. Beyond the usual suspects of tallow and lanolin the soap base is chock full of goodies: Shea, organic coconut milk, tussah silk and the magical allantoin.
Order placed with Connaught Shaving.

Rosa Bourbon (Eufros) La Reine Victoria
Thanks, chaturvedi.ankit, for calling today’s shave. Rose is exactly what's needed for a day this perfect. Following your suggestion, I reached for Rosa Bourbon, knowing that it would give me an excellent shave and at the same time perfume the whole house with its heady scent. The fragrance is even stronger than what I smelled last year in this soap’s vegetal incarnation. It’s not a complex, powdery rose, nor is it especially fruity. Instead, it's an intense, pure rose essence, the kind I smell when I bury my nose in the full bloom of my favorite Bourbon rose, La Reine Victoria. Until I can figure out how to grow a one of these temperamental beauties in our salty soil, I'll have to settle for a tub of sweet Rosa Bourbon.
JabonMan’s new tallow formulation of this soap makes a sublime lather. Dense and nearly free of visible bubbles, it becomes as slick as you want depending on how much water you bring to the mix.
