Stirling Soap Pharo's Dreamsicle - I was poking around in my box of unloved products when I cam across this soap. I couldn't recall why I'd placed it there. Its Stirling and therefore a great performer and it smelled wonderful. So I gave it a go this morning to see what was up. It lathered beautifully and went on nicely. I then proceeded to run my Rockwell 6s R4 with an Astra Platinum (green). Well, halfway through the first pass I remembered why I'd put it in the unloved box - my skin is sensitive to something in the soap and I was getting a bit of a burn happening. None the less I completed the shave and its all good but unfortunately the Pharo's Dreamsicle is going back to the box of unloved products.

Egyptian Dragon (Mystic Water) violet, myrrh, patchouli
Following wyze0ne ’s lead I lathered a wedge of Egyptian Dragon this morning. A few months ago, when I first used this soap, I could have sworn I smelled orange and clove in the mix, but those pleasant notes were nowhere to be found today. I got violets, gentle myrrh, and some good earthy patchouli. There may have been a drop of musk in there, too. Altogether it smelled like a soft, faded version of Mystic Water’s Frankincense & Myrrh.
