It's ARKO moist shaving day! A bigger container than the Indian Old Spice one. And it is really slick. The glycerin should be doing that. But the smell and menthol blast is great. This could be a great staple in the rotation....

Strong ’n Scottish (Meißner Tremonia) smoke, peat, iodine

The honey truck started pumping out the neighbor’s septic system just as I stepped from the shower. A true lover of scent will swear there is no such thing an offensive odor and then go on to rhapsodize about the complexities of civet and other indolic joys that give fragrances a sense of depth and mystery. Surely these noses have never spent a tropical morning with an overflowing septic tank not your own.

I reached for the only thing I had that I thought would hold off the stench: Strong ’n Scottish. Its stout combination of smoke and peat and iodine wrapped my head in a protective blanket of scent that was marginally better than what was swirling around outside the window. The sea breeze has mercifully picked up now, putting us up wind, and I’m left with a remarkably close shave and the aroma of smoked herring loitering around my jaws.

The scent was only marginally better than the one swirling outside? And even smoked herrings entered the picture? Strong ’n Scottish is nowhere near my favorite soap scents, but I’d never think of comparing it to septic tanks and smoked herring… (Your review had me laughing out loud.) Smile

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
