Indian Flavour (Meißner Tremonia) coriander & mint
Coriander seeds have a dusty lemon smell that at first overrides their soft woody base. In this soap, the coriander’s flighty citrus note is supported by a generous drop of lemon grass oil, so the scent stays tart and fresh all the way through the shave. Dried mint lurks in the background. It’s hardly noticeable until the third pass, when it steps forward to create a light but pleasant chill. The scent of clay is inescapable in Meißner Tremonia’s soaps. To me, parts of Indian Flavour smell like warm bricks. With a little cumin, a spot of garlic, and a bird, we’d have the beginnings of some tasty tandoor chicken.
