This sounds promising — I say that, because I have a jar of this soap en route. I’m also curious — what would have earned the soap a final fifth star, if I may ask?
I've used Cashmere only once. If I keep getting shaves as nice as yesterday's, I'll be very happy to give it five stars.
Brown Windsor (Mystic Water) ★★★★★ cinnamon, caraway, cardamom, clove, lavender
The caraway makes this scent unique among the soaps I’ve lathered. Without it, Brown Windsor might become garam masala. That’s one of my favorite spice blends, but I’ve scattered it over too many of my own sloppy curries, and somehow it has lost its dignity. Brown Windsor hasn’t. Instead, the caraway and the lavender give it a medicinal bitterness that suggests starched linen and arriving in a calèche.
I’m almost done with this tin of Brown Windsor. It’s the old formula without the chelating agent. For me it lathers without any effort. But it feels drier than the plush silkiness of the new formula. Luckily, Michelle has recently updated this soap.

Sounds very good, indeed. I’m hoping for a similar experience once mine arrives. Also, I enjoyed your comments on Brown Windsor. I have a sample of it (old formula), and I’m now looking forward to comparing notes.
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
