The pace is slow and easy, so it's painless. I appreciate what you and vtmax and Rudds have to say about them, but the real reason I ordered them was because I have a lot of friends from Indonesia. I’m even learning their language. So, I wanted a set of soaps from there too. Absolutely no regrets, and I’m looking forward to many happy shaves.
Just out of curiosity, what are you using to learn the language? I've used the DuoLingo app on my phone for the past several years to learn Spanish....i'm not fluent but know much more than I ever learned with 3 years of high school Spanish. I also recently started learning Dutch on DuoLingo but if there is a better program, I may switch.
In the past, I also used Rosetta Stone to mess around with Latin. It was fun and about as rigorous as Babbel.
I've never tried DuoLingo, but you've got me interested in it now. Looks like I've got a project for the afternoon. Thanks!

“Kretek Haze” is listed as one of the notes in this fragrance. Boy, that takes me back. For those who don’t know, kreteks are cigarettes filled with tobacco and ground cloves. Most are made in the East Indies, where a lot of the world’s spices grow. Now kreteks are banned in the US, but back in the day they were imported and sold in head shops. For a while they were all the rage. When I was in high school someone even convinced the authorities that there was no tobacco in kreteks, therefore students should be allowed to smoke them on campus. For a couple weeks Central High was lost in a haze of dank spicy smoke. Even erstwhile nonsmokers were sparking and puffing ad lib. Parents started shaking their heads, and at last the principal made a few calls and figured out that kreteks were in fact made mostly of tobacco. He put his big boot down and snuffed out the pungent blunts, although from time to time we’d still find a few spicy sploofs in remote hallways. Thanks, Oaken Lab, for the time travel.
