Asylums Frankincense and Myrrh is resinous with just enough sweet to take the edge off.  The scent is light.  Almost so light as to be nonexistent during the shave. That's just fine with me as occasionally I don't wish for a mad blast of scent and this morning was just such a time.  Although the scent is light it is very well done.  Performance is perfect as its WSP Formula T.

Fjellheim v. (Fitjar Islands) spruce & juniper

As the name suggests, Fjellheim smells like a cabin in the mountains. It’s clean coniferous. I’m tempted to say it smells like a Christmas tree, considering the time of the year, but it’s really lighter and less sappy than the yuletide bush we’ve got set up in the living room. In fact, Fjellheim is the most authentic spruce I’ve got in my collection: it’s all needles and fresh cut wood. The lather is just as gorgeous with a wide water window. Mix it up thick and cosy or thin and slick, either way it gives a comfortable, long-lasting shave.

I love the scent on this one but the last couple of times I've used it the performance seemed lacking and I always have had an issue getting a good think lather, have any suggestions on lathering?
