Italian Barbershop v. (Le Père Lucien) cinnamon, citrus, rosemary
I culled the herd today. I was running such a large rotation that it was taking months and months to get back to some of my favorite soaps. So now there are sixty tubs on the shelf, and they’re my sixty favorites. (The others went in a bin under the bed to await advancement to the rotation.) Really sixty is as low as I can go when it comes to picking favorite soaps. I don’t know how some shavers manage to whittle their list down to a dozen or less. This means Italian Barbershop and I will be seeing more of each other next year. Good thing, too, since I really enjoy the orange-cinnamon scent, and the lather, so light and still so rich, is among the best in this sticky climate.

I was sorting of hoping for a tropical M7, but I got something that reminds me more of the coconut cream pie I had for dessert the other night. So, it's not bad, and if you like gourmand scents, you would probably find it delicious.(11-30-2019, 02:59 AM)Bouki Wrote: Coconut Oud t. (Lisa’s Natural Herbal Creations) coconutBouki-coconut oud. What the heck does that smell like?
This version of Lisa’s shave soap is made with ivy extract. The leaves of the ivy vine have been used for a long time to make cough remedies and to treat burns and other types of inflammation. I’m surprised Saponificio Varesino, the other great apothecarian amongst soap cookers, hasn’t latched onto this yet.
