I haven't had a lather like that in a few years, thank goodness.

That's not Haslinger lather.

Grim, yes, $4.50 a puck. That comes out to just about a dime a shave....not too shabby.

Haslingers costs $8.50 for me. It is only two ounces so that is $4.25 per ounce, which puts it at a moderate to high priced soap. I happen to think it works well so it's worth while, but some may not.

I have to admit I am very surprised with your results. However, if something left my face irritated I'd never use it again either.

Surprised me too Nathan. Oh well. Off it went to someone who hopefully will enjoy it.

I think most soaps are within the 1 to 10 cent per shave range when you calculate it out. Even MdC isn't too bad on that per shave cost when you figure it only takes a very small amount to get a great lather. I think the cheapest I have is Tabac or MWF on a per shave basis.

BTW, I brought this up because it seems this tiny soap has some kind of cult following, similar to Tabac and one or two others. Then again, I hear Arko has a cult following or Proraso.

To each their own. I'm cool with that.
