Warm weather [76F/25C] and it was plain ole' burgers. Locally raised ground beef, house pickled jalapenos, local bleu cheese, caramelized onions, bacon that I also threw on the grill and some hickory BBQ sauce. Weakest link were the buns!

Chased it down with a locally brewed English Brown Ale from Grapevine Brewery.

Kevin, that's your idea of "plain ole' burgers"?  Confused

I'd love to see what you consider a dressed up burger.  Character

We run an open door policy- anytime you happen to pass through Austin there's at least a burger waiting!

That is a fine looking burger - grilled over charcoal I trust? Another few months and it will be charcoal grilling season here, I'm excited now seeing that burger. We do grill over the winter but using, ahem, gas. my wife usually runs that grill but when the weather is right, i get out the charcoal grill and the smoker. Man grill with fire. Can you see my knuckles dragging? Smile

What? Was I raised by wolves? Wink It has been incredible weather here lately- have already been tasked with menu and grilling for next weekend in fact.

Not that I mind a bit!
