Rockwell 6S on No. 4 plate using Proraso cream. Seems to be around the efficiency of a Slim on 3 (possibly slightly more) but has a noticeably smoother feel when shaving which is great. Not that keen on the heaviness of the razor, or the length of the handle as prefer shorter at the moment, but that comfortable shave makes up for it. Will try the 5 & 6 plate some time in the future but will concentrate on the 4 for now to become really confident in its use before moving upwards.
One negative issue is that screwing the handle into the cap seems to easily lend itself to potential cross threading, so have to be extra careful. I am not ham fisted when doing this because the Weber I have does not suffer the same issue.
Can understand why this became a popular razor, design seems to lend itself to ease of use with less chance of hurting the user.
