Like many others, I'm going to have to say the very worst I've tried (ever) is the Merkur. I can get a better shave from a sharp knife -- literally.

I've never been able to understand why a company that seems able to make respectable razors can't master blade making and doesn't seem to get it - they keep producing those crummy little things. I've not heard a single person say they like them.

Tiger brand has been the worst for me. The blade was as thick as 3-4 regular blades. Those folks need to be in the weapons business - not the shaving business.

Personna anything. They don't work for me, for some reason.

Sharks....tried them several times. I always had the styptic pencil ready.

Bic and Dorco 300 are just awful. I swear they're micro-serrated.

Croma blades. Needed Styptic Pencil close by.

I said Merkur before but those were during my early days of shaving.

Now: Voskhod?
Also Lab Blue and Astra SP didn't work too well.

And in my Blackbird: anything but Iridium Super has been horrible so far.

Btw, I love both Derby and Feather.

And this is exactly why we ask these questions, isn't it? It would be awfully dull (pun most definitely intended Winking) if we all favored the same thing.
