I'm just finishing up The Lesser Dead by Christopher Buehlman. I borrowed it as an audiobook from Hoopla, my library's service.

One of my favorite vampire novels for quite some time. Set in 1978, it is a first person narrative about a group of vampires that live/hide in abandoned subway loops in Manhattan.

I have been on a streak of reading Dystopian fiction.  Most though seem to revolve around teens  (Hunger Games-quite a while ago, Divergent, The 5th Wave, The Maze Runner)and while that is fine I am looking for suggestions that are based on adult characters.  I have read Wool which I enjoyed and The Passage series spanned many years in the characters lives. Any suggestions.  I know I could always read 1984 or Pig Farm.  Thanks.

The Boys in the Boat. Such a great read about a great group of guys making it all the way to Berlin. Love it!

I am re-reading this book for the umpteenth time since the late 90s.  BadDad if you liked the Hitchhiker's Guide, you may like this as well.  Connie Willis really tells a great yarn of time travel, along with a healthy dose of humor.

Guards! Guards! by Terry Pratchett
I was able to get about 15 of the Discworld books recently and I've been enjoying them.

Those are fun - I haven't read them all yet but your post makes me think I need to read a few more.
Thanks,

Currently reading the "The English Spy". I'm really enjoying reading the book. Well developed characters. The book has twist and turns with the storyline.

I just finished the "English Spy", I would highly recommend you enjoy thrillers and action packed books. Plots twists and turns make it a page turner.

I just started reading the "Rook" sci fi/fantasy book.
