Well, fine gentleman, this past week I was in Chicago and for some reason decided to grow back the stubble/short beard I had for years. It's not going to last. I just don't have the whisker density for good scruff, and I miss a full-face shave too much. So, this morning it's time to shave clean.

Question is, which of my favorite instruments get the honor of destroying five days' growth in one go?

The Wolfman OC?
Alumigoose?
The vaunted OneBlade?
Perhaps a classic Schick Hydromagic?
I could even try the Feather AC again, but really, no need to start clean again with nicks.

This is obviously not a terribly serious topic, but the truth is, I'm excited for a clean shave again, and wanted to share that excitement with my fellow enthusiasts. :-)

OneBlade obviously. Then you can tell us all how it works as a lawn mower.

That Bald Guy with the Big Beard

Feather.

When I decided to finally cut in cheek lines on my 9 month old beard, a sharp straight went right through. No clogging, no muss, no fuss. Just clean on through, with a facial-hair-carpet coming off in one fell swoop.

My beard sits at just over 5" long and is quite thick and dense. It was really kind of cool watching the blade slide clean underneath all that hair...

Whatever you choose to use, enjoy the shave!

Whichever you think will do the best job with the least irritation on that five day growth.
