If you could source that same knot the Satin Tip uses I'd probably get one. It's the handle I don't like. The knot performs similar to the Ubersoft II.

What is it about the handle that you don't like?

It's very nice looking handle and it feels nice with its rubberized coating but its too light and small feeling for me. I think the small feeling is mainly due to it having a smaller diameter but the height is fine.

I love the handle I wish I could get that coating or handle for all my brushes.

Many people like it so I may be the oddball. I like that coating too just wish it were heavier and larger diameter.

The black one was my first synthetic brush, and I was really impressed with it at the beginning. After a month or so, the handle started to look horrible and really collect scratches. I really like the grippy material, but it won't last long. Then I tried both the Stirling and the Plissoft (the original RazoRock is very soft but also very dense compared to later brushes), and could not return to the satin tip. They are orders of magnitude better.
tl;dr - not bad but also not great brush, at a very attractive price, although you can find better ones these days.

Mine are in mostly mint condition still after 6 months of use. I use, dry for day then back in its tube. Wonder why yours didn't hold up as well. I'd read some people had their knot come out Confused
